the BRASS KNUCKLES blues band A 7 PIECE BLUES BAND featuring  STEVE ROUX (the white knuckle blues band, the steve roux band) - guitar & vocals BERNIE FOX (the white knuckles blues band, ex sherman robertson, jimmy witherspoon) - drums ROB VICK (the white knuckle blues band) - bass JOSH PHILLIPS (procol harum, the jones gang, ex moody marsden band, Arthur Brown) - hammond organ and piano TEDDY EDWARDS (the freestyle funk collective, tremaine) - trumpet STEVE GRAINGER (ex jimmy witherspoon, the beach boys, culture club, denise williams) - alto sax JON GOODING (ex the soul agents, blue bazookas) - tenor sax The set will be made up of new tunes with a couple reworked from the regular knuckles set, these are tunes we have always wanted to do with a horn section. The essence of the the band will be the same as before but with josh joining in on the hammond and the horns on top it will be kicking and swinging. Our most recent shows...... The Brass Knuckles will be on the south parade pier, part of the Southsea Roots and Blues Festival. We will be playing in the evening on Bank holiday Monday 31st. The BRASS KNUCKLES Blues Band SUNDAY 21st. JUNE at the SOUTHSEA BANDSTAND supporting the brilliant Sharrie Williams and the Wiseguys. This event will be on from 1 until 5pm. We will be on at 2pm.
